ELLIE

On March 20th we met up with the Little Flower Girls at the Queen of The Valley Chapel to interview a priest. This was part of their patch requirement. After mass the Priest met with the girls and answer some questions.
After the interview we drove out to Whittier to meet up with Kevin. Kevin volunteered to work at the swap meet to raise money for his Honor Society club at school.
ELLIE have been showing a lot of interest in Astronomy and space travel recently because of what she is studying in school. At the last minute we decided to took her to the Griffith Observatory as a reward for her getting good grades on her progress report.

THANK YOU!

Tai got a Jumperoo for Christmas.
He loves jumping a making lots of noises with it.
A big THANK YOU to Auntie Tina, Uncle Sunil, cousin Anya and Nikhil for such a cool gift!

FIVE

It is hard to believe that Tai is FIVE months old already!  It seems like yesterday that I was pregnant.  These were taken around his FIVE months old birthday.
This naked picture is one of many taken by big sis Ellie.  One can say she is collecting a file for future blackmails.
Mommy's little drooly monster....
Hey cousin Nikhil does the elephant look familiar?
He started sleeping on his tummy.  Oops daddy left the bib on...
Notice the pool of drool?

PROUD

Kevin competed in his first triathlon at UCLA.  Ellie, Tai, grandma Norma and I went to cheer him on.  He started with a 400 meters swim then a 16 miles bike ride and finished with a 3 1/2" miles run. We missed the swim but was on the sideline for the bike ride and were at the finish line to cheered him on.
It was a cold morning so Tai was bundled up in his stroller.
The 1st lap of the bike ride.
The 2nd lap of the bike ride.
The last lap on of the 16 miles bike ride.  We even got a thumb up!
Ellie & Tai on the sideline cheering on Daddy.
Finished with the bike ride.  He did it with a mountain bike.  What a trooper!

Ellie also waiting anxiously for Daddy.
Running toward the finish line.
So on March 7th we have the 1st triathlete in our family.  We are very PROUD of our papa bear.  He is already talking about training and competing in more triathlons with the kids in the future.  Here's to many more years of cheering on my athletes from the sidelines!

NINE

if you were falling, then i would catch you
if you need a light, i'd find a match
'cause i love the way you say good morning
and you take me the way i am
if you are chilly, here take my sweater
your head is aching, i'll make it better
'cause i love the way you call me, baby
and you take me the way i am
i'd buy you rogaine when you start losing your hair
sew on patches to all your tear
'cause i love you more than i could ever promise
and you take me the way i am
you take me the way i am, you take me the way i am
